Evon is a grandmother living at the YWCA Residence in White Plains. Until she was vaccinated, she was mostly stuck in her room alone, leaving only to get food and return. But Evon found peace in her quiet room. She made diamond paintings, watched tv, listened to music, and thoroughly enjoyed her alone time. The people in the borders of the pieces represent her children and grandchildren who remain active, living their lives separately until they can all be together again.
