Torah Portion Torah Covers

Earlier this month, I visited the JCC of Harrison to make covers for the Torah with the sixth graders. The students and their parents read the Torah portions for their upcoming Bnai Mitzvah and then created fabric art that will cover the Torah on their big days!

All the families made incredible, thoughtful pieces and I especially loved how a few of the fathers were more into the art making than anyone else in the room!
