Trial Run at SWFS
Temporary Shelter had it’s first chance to really come to life today! In order to make sure everything works in real life the way it does in my head, I took the piece to Stephen Wise Free Synagogue where it will premiere on November 7 and, with the help of my parents, put the piece together in the sanctuary. There are still a few small finishing touches to work out, but it was really exciting to see it all assembled and in the synagogue.
I also learned a few valuable lessons including the fact that I need three people and two ladders to put up the piece and take it down. If anyone wants to help with the set-up or break-down for any of the venues, let me know!
Heather, this looks great! I hope I’ll be able to see it in person at some point… Chag sameach,
B.
Heather, congratulations, it looks wonderful, and I ‘m so glad the set-up went well.
