Help Me Tell the Stories of New York’s Homeless

Those of you who have been following my blog know that I’m working on an installation piece that will tell the stories of New York’s homeless.  I am delighted that the project will be partially funded by the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, but I’m going to need additional funding to make the piece work.  That’s where you come in!

Through Kickstarter.com, I am accepting pledges that will go toward the materials for the piece (fabric, batting, thread, …), transportation to the venues, and materials for the exhibitions (postcards and programs).  Click here to see the details of the project and to make a pledge.  No pledge is too small and in kind donations are also welcome!  (I am especially in need of a sukkah frame for the piece.)

Below is a short video that describes the project and its goals.  I hope you will consider helping be bring this project to life, so the stories of New York’s homeless can be seen!
